We are looking for an in home aide personal care attendant for part time contract work.

Must have reliable transportation to Port Orchard / South Kitsap area.

Required certification for in home and community services: Fundamentals of Care, Safety Training, within 60 days of employment, sign DSHS contract.

Provide in home care, cooking, cleaning, light housekeeping, assist with grocery shoppig, errands, recreational goals, read print materials and excercise program

Requirement: Must be able to work in home and public places and with client's wheelchair and service dog. Must not be allergic to dogs or live with anyone who is. Must not smoke. Prefer male or female with military background or nursing background. Must keep client information confidential. Must follow client's ADA needs. Must be able to work in the United States.

Must have Clear Criminal Backgrounds, Interview and Practical Testing required.

One position is DSHS paid with L & I. benefit, Location: South Kitsap

One position is client paid. Location: South Kitsap

Hourly Wage: $9-10.

Three to four hours per shift.

Provide in home and community nursing delegation services, take and record vitals, check skin and body, closely monitor and record client's alertness, fatigue and communication levels. Assist with medical and communication equipment. Assist with transfers, bathing, wheelchair mobility, grooming, dressing, personal hygiene at home and in public. Keep client clean and neat and makeup for public appearances. Document all needs for any equipment, rest periods, medical care, services performed. Give all medications as prescribed.

Required Certification: Fundamentals of Caregiving, Safety Training, Nurse's Delegation
