Explosive Detection Dogs Trained to Work Under Distraction and with Children & Adults
We use a dog trained to detect explosives, fireworks, homemade bombs, ammunition and handguns to find and alert to the presence of objects which may be illegal or dangerous in the public situation.
The dogs can search lockers, buildings, hallways, rooms and clients. They can cover large open areas where objects maybe dropped or hidden. The search can be performed during classroom hours, which give a deterrent effect, or during off-hours to quietly search areas without disturbed classroom activity.
The dogs are very friendly and sociable, and are used to working with children. They are used to excitement, crowds, petting and other distractions. The dogs are passively trained so they do not harm objects or persons. During clients searches, they gently sniff at a person who may be sitting or standing.
We can work with your law enforcement and or security agency to develop a plan of what you wish to do with finds or indications of explosives or weapons in lockers, on grounds or in the possession of a student.
